s-PAD Hand Held Unit

The s-PAD is a wireless interface device designed to look and react like the players panel of a modern multi-button slot machine. The device is portable and fits comfortably in the hands or in the lap of any player.

The device features 15 slot machine buttons including a machine “SCAN” button and an LCD display that gives the user visual instructions.

Using the “SCAN” button, a player will scan the RF ID Card located on the slot machine. The s-PAD will confirm the machine address and establish a secure wireless link between the In-Machine Unit inside the slot machine and the s-PAD.

Once the s-PAD is securely communicating with the selected machine, the device will look and react exactly like the buttons on the selected machine. The s-PAD will automatically adapt to the type of machine selected. If the slot machine has multi-buttons, all the buttons on the s-PAD will work; if the slot machine has five-button, the s-PAD will disable the inactive buttons.

Players can relax, sit back and use the s-PAD buttons, the machine buttons or a combination of both to play the machine.

The s-PAD can be used for upright, slant, reel, video and poker machines. If a player wishes to move to another machine they simply follow the on-screen instructions, disconnect from the current machine and securely re-connect to another machine.

If the s-PAD is not in use for more than two minutes the device will automatically disconnect from the machine and return to the power reset mode.
