RF ID Card Address System

The RF ID Card System is the heart of the security and communication for the SMART Gaming Support System.

RF ID Cards come in all shapes and sizes and can be customized to fit the needs of each casino. The Cards can be mounted on or inside the slot machine or on the base of the slot machine. The only mounting requirement is that the Card is placed where it can be scanned by the s-PAD.

Each machine intended to use the SMART System must be assigned a machine specific identification code. The code can be chosen by random, specifically assigned, or derived from the casino’s slot machine number.

Before SMART installation, a technician will assign an identification code to the Card with an RF ID Card reader/programmer, and the Card is then mounted to the machine. The RF ID Card code will then be replicated in the corresponding In-Machine Unit.

For an sPAD to connect to a chosen machine the player must scan the RF ID Card on that machine. If the code scanned on the Card corresponds with the code in the In-Machine Unit the system will be activated and the player will be able to play the chosen machine.

Without this card the system will not be able to connect or communicate.

The s-PAD can only connect to one specific code at a time, which ensures a player can only play one machine at a time.
